Everything has an expiration date, and reality TV is no different. Some could argue that reality TV even has a shorter shelf life than almost anything else. Thankfully, The Real Housewives of New Jersey remains one of Bravo's longest-running reality shows, with 14 seasons under its belt. But since airing Season 14 in May 2024, RHONJ's viewers are wondering what future seasons will look like.
In June 2024, Bravo confirmed there wouldn't be a traditional reunion for the season due to a possible fight that will reportedly occur in the season finale. Before the reunion was canceled, there was already tension among the cast, with two of its stars, Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga, at the center.
Now, rumors are swirling that RHONJ could undergo drastic changes, including Jennifer Aydin's departure.

However, the Ultimate Beauty Pillow CEO reportedly can't be sure that her job as a Real Housewives star is in tact.
Since RHONJ Season 14 premiered on May 5, 2024, Jennifer and Teresa have been in hot water with Bravo. The friction began when an X, formerly Twitter account accused the friends of leaking information about their co-stars and spilling tea about behind-the-scenes moments that were set to air throughout the season.

The screenshot of the letter accused him of treating the employees of his limousine business like "dirt" and that Rachel had plastic surgery. Jennifer reportedly asked Gabriela to post the letter on X so she could bring it up in a scene with Rachel that same day.
In other screenshots, Jennifer allegedly leaked her and Danielle Cabral's fight, which played out in a Season 14 episode. Neither Jennifer nor Teresa has confessed to leaking the messages, though Jennifer reportedly sent Gabriela a text stating how upset she was about the leaks getting out. In the message, she allegedly asked the content creator "How could you?" and said she was supposed to be "one of the special ones."

Although Jennifer hasn't been officially fired from RHONJ, the writing is on the wall to some fans. One Reddit user predicted Jen was on the chopping block after she was seemingly left out of press runs for Season 14. Andy Cohen also hinted at Jennifer or Teresa being reprimanded for their leaks and said their alleged actions affect the show's legacy.
"I hate leaks, as you can imagine," Andy told social media personality Kiki Monique in June 2024. "Because it just, I mean that’s what was so fun about that Reality Von Tease thing. It was like no one knew about it, and it was just so fun as a viewer, so I hope that we can get into a vibe of not leaking.”
"I hate leaks," he continued. "I just think that there’s a supreme level of kind of distrust amongst the cast with each other and that’s never healthy in terms of trying to make a great television show.”
Jennifer and Teresa are likely glad they don't have to answer to Andy at the reunion that's no longer happening. Tre also might be able to keep her job, as RadarOnline reported in June that she's been marked safe from a rumored shakeup. The outlet shared that the RHONJ reboot won't be a full recast like The Real Housewives of New York, but that only three ladies will remain on the show — Teresa, Rachel, and Dolores Catania.
Bravo fan X account The Real Housewives Polls also reported on the shakeup rumors and asked fans their feelings about Jennifer's possible departure. The question was met with mixed reviews, as some felt Jen, who has been on RHONJ since Season 9, has just the right mess needed to make the show work. Others, however, felt she should be held accountable for alleged role in the leaks.
